Gluten Free Red Poha
Poha is a popular breakfast option all across the country. Here is a healthier poha recipe made with Red Rice Poha. This Recipe is made from red rice that goes through less processing as compared to the other and has countless health benefits.
Ingredients:
- 1 onion, chopped
- Red Chillies
- 1/2 Tomato (diced)
- Curry leaves
- Oil, for frying
- Mustard Seeds
- 2 cup red poha
- Salt
- Turmeric Powder
- Peanuts
- Lemon Juice
Getting it done:
- Wash the poha and soak in enough water till it softens. ( Be careful at this step so that Poha doesn’t become soggy )
- Drain the poha in a colander and let the excess water drain nicely.Keep aside.
- Heat oil for frying Onions, Mustard seeds, Red Chillies and curry leaves in a pan.
- Afterwards, add potatoes and fry on high heat till golden brown and crunchy from outside.
- Add tomatoes and fry for a minute.Now add salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice.
- Add poha and mix well.Cook 2-3 minutes on low heat.
- Add fresh coriander and mix well.Serve hot.
